Harold Budd/Brian Eno
The collaborations between Brian Eno and Harold Budd began upon completing Budd's first noticed ambient record entitled The Pavilion of Dreams. Two years after the success of Budd's musicianship and Eno's excellent production on the album, the two combined forces and created Ambient 2: The Plateaux of Mirror, the follow up to Ambient 1: Music for Airports which was the first album to ever coin the term of "ambient music". Both Eno and Budd afterward experimented with other ambient musicians and met up again to record The Pearl in 1984.
